Chris was recently promoted to the role of Site Director, after 9 years of excellence in youth development experience. In his first role at the Club, as the Director of Technology and STEM programming, Chris used his expertise to show how STEM is used in the real world with hands-on activities and how technology makes our lives easier. As the former Director of Teen Programs, he used the same teaching style to guide youth in striving for academic success, building character and leadership skills, and living healthy lives. He channels all those skills into his new role as Site Director, mentoring both staff and youth to achieve positive youth development outcomes.
Prior to joining BGCNW, he attended State University of New York at Buffalo and received a BA in Spanish Language and Literature. Chris previously worked as a full-time substitute teacher in the Hastings-on-Hudson school district.
