The Club is important because it provides support and resources for children in our community. It’s a positive, nurturing environment that allows children to not only realize, but maximize their full potential.

Water safety is critical for ALL children. Each year in the U.S. the #1 cause of accidental death for children ages 1-4 is drowning. BGCNW proudly teaches over 1,000 children to be water safe each year. Since the Club opened its doors in 1939, our Learn-to-Swim program has taught more than 65,000 local children how to swim and be safe in the water.
