In March, Boys & Girls Club of Northern Westchester (BGCNW) will be administering our annual Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) Nation Youth Outcomes Initiative (NYOI) survey to members aged 9 and up. The survey asks members about their perception of the Club and measures indicators of youth achievement in BGCA’s priority areas. The survey gives youth an opportunity to give feedback about their Club experience, but is completely anonymous.
There are 5 categories that NYOI measures: Club Experience, Safety, Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles, Social and Emotional Development; as well as a sixth category, Workforce Readiness, for members aged 13 and up. The data collected will be used to improve the Club Experience, program quality, and youth outcomes. In addition, outcomes of the data help the Club to secure funding from grants and community partners.
As the input of all members is important to us, we will also administer a survey, created internally, to our younger school-aged members who are not yet eligible to take part in the NYOI survey.
This year, in addition to the member survey, BGCA has created a Parent & Caregiver survey. We ask that you follow link below, or in the top right hand corner of the main page to participate. Your feedback is greatly appreciated and integral to our ability to make improvements that meet the needs and expectations of the families we serve.
