On Sunday, September 18th, the Marlins Swim Team held its annual kick-off event to welcome new parents and team-members! Now entering its 55th year of programming, the Marlins Swim Team program is perennially ranked on of the top 100 swim clubs in the country. They are 22 year BGCA National Champions and have achieved USA Swimming bronze Medal Club designation.
At the event, Head Swim Coach, Dr. Zachary Hojnacki, PhD, introduced newcomers to the philosophy and approach the coaches use to ensure athletes receive all the supports necessary to succeed both in and out of the water. Parents and team members had a chance to purchase new gear and to learn more about other Club programs they might like to participate in.
