This week, 3 Marlins attended the USA Swimming Winter Junior Nationals is Greensboro, NC. This is a prestigious National level meet with approximately 1000 of the countries top swimmers.
Hudson Chung, Lucy Walker, and Erik Nadecki represented BGNW. Hudson swam 500 freestyle, 200 butterfly, and had a personal best time in the 100 butterfly.
Lucy swam 200 Individual Medley, 200 freestyle, 100 Breaststroke, and 200 Breaststroke. Lucy went personal best times in 200 IM and 200 Breaststroke. She qualified in the top 24 C final in the 200 IM and Breaststroke, and the top 16 B final for 200 Free. Her 200 breaststroke was a new team record.
Erik swam 100 Breaststroke and 200 breaststroke. Erik went personal best times in 100 and 200 breaststrokes. His 100 breaststroke qualified him in the top 24 C final, and was a new team record and Summer Junior National qualifying time.
