Water safety is critical for ALL children. Each year in the U.S. the #1 cause or death in children under 6 is drowning. BGCNW teaches over 1,000 children annually. Our Learn-to-Swim program has taught more than 48,000 local children the benefits of swimming. Our Marlins swim team have been Boys & Girls Club of America’s National Champions every year since 2000. The Marlins 250+ members also participate in local and regional meets. Many go on to become competitive swimmers in high school and college.
